Gucci always make it a point to get out of its comfort zone (read: GG logo) and create something new. The "something new" I’m referring to is the Gucci limited-edition New Jackie Ostrich Bag, a new interpretation of the classic Jackie-O bag. It’s part of the capsule collection of sold in celebration of the newly refurbished Rue Royale store in Paris.
How limited-edition is this Gucci handbag? Believe it or not, only six pieces of this were produced!
The capsule collection includes another "New Jackie," this time in soft grey deer skin and with matching wallets and silk scarf with "Gucci Paris 23 Rue Royale" on its border.
The Rue Royale store is the first in Europe to offer made-to-order service for the New Bamboo bag. Imagine this Gucci creation in 25 shades of crocodile skin and three sizes to choose from. It’s personalized with client’s initials on the inner flap part and mirror case.
